Volumetric measurement of maxillary sinus volume by MDCT

Background: An in-depth knowledge of the physiology upper respiratory tract, as well developmental, clinical, and imaging anatomy maxillary sinus-in particular its relationship to dentition, nose, ethmoid frontal sinuses-is necessary for appreciating sinus's part in both health disease. To this end, study sought validate MDCT a volumetric tool assessing sinus size. Material methods: The volume sinuses was evaluated by using 140 patients.
